Volunteering with ChangeMaker will
give you a fantastic opportunity to
find out and do something about the
people living in the worst form of
poverty in Bangladesh as well as
other parts of the world. You'll be
a part of the initiative for the
social and economic change, and you
can make a big difference to the
life of those who earnestly believes
that someday somebody with knowledge
and skill would lend them a hand to
walk towards the road of prosperity.

Our volunteer programs are designed
to facilitate hands-on learning
opportunities to develop your career
through work opportunities aimed at
fostering practical understanding of
practical social and economic issues
of our country. ChangeMaker
volunteers participate in meaningful
and rewarding service assignments
and learn new skills within a
context of diverse social and
economic issues and within people of
various social and economic
backgrounds.
At a time when the understanding of
social and economic issues is
critical, ChangeMaker volunteers
have the opportunity to deepen their
knowledge and awareness and prepare
for a potential career and a
full-time service in other
organizations be it a government
agency or a private sector
for-profit enterprise or a
not-for-profit social change entity.
ChangeMaker host organizations
benefit from the dedicated work of
our volunteers by receiving much
needed administrative, technical,
and developmental support. Our
volunteers offer not only a strong
commitment to service but also bring
their unique personal backgrounds
and invaluable professional skills
to their assignments.
ChangeMaker derives its values from
the volunteerism that the country
has a rich culture to help and be
helped and we think it's important
to help understand the increasing
social and economic disparities in
our society and how to address them.

lifestyle…
It might seem difficult to get
involved while at college and
university, with both time and money
in short supply.
If you're worried about commitment,
then don't be, we're happy to try
and fit volunteering around your
work and study commitments. Call and
talk to our people at ChangeMaker
and find out how and in what
arrangement to assist the people how
are living newer to us.
We've put together a number of
projects with college and university
students in mind. We're keen to
support the campaigning,
fundraising, awareness-raising and
skills development as well as social
justice work that you are already
involved with.
Showing the Micro and Small
Enterprises particularly that is run
by Women Entrepreneurs on developing
business plan, addressing marketing
issues, maintaining quality
standards, managing financial record
keeping, preparing budget and cash
flow statements, understanding
appropriate technological
application and a host of issues
that retards the growth of the
enterprises and lose grounds in the
intense market competition. A well
articulated product literature, a
creative promotional poster, an
appropriate linkage with upstream
markets, an appropriate packaging
all these can make a significant
difference to the life of thousands
of women in our country.
Or you can select other program
activities that ChangeMaker is
engaged in such as governance, ICT,
environment, child rights, gender
equity, peace and security, WTO and
many more.
What you'll give
You'll work with ChangeMaker staff
to develop skills of these people
either in Dhaka office or in our
regional offices and make the
biggest impact in our society. You
might select a project that appeals
you most or have adequate skills to
assist on trade, social justice,
governance, ICT, documentation, case
development, project write-up, press
briefings, articles for newspaper,
documentary …or any of the other
areas we work on.
Each activity of yours will be
planned and designed strategically
to fit around your present and
potential studies, jobs and careers.
The volunteer program is designed to
stay for at least 3 months so that
you learn and contribute
sufficiently for your career growth
and the same time make an effective
difference in the life of the people
that you will be helping.

support, travel and other costs and free resources, free
internet access, etc. We will provide
certificate and testimonial and
will even help you in your placement and
Job Search endeavor.
