ChangeMaker is devoted to set up a development framework to
encourage a pattern-setting system to strengthen and engage
the civil society organizations, Private Sector Enterprises,
Government Agencies, Educational and Research Institutes in
the mainstream Human, Social and Economic Development.
ChangeMaker’s objective is to address the urgent and
critical issues of the community in an integrated way and
provide a platform and enabling environment to encourage participation
of the target community to take the programs on their own.
The key focus of ChangeMaker is to incrementally link the
current development programs to a meaningful market driven
process, which can serve as a vehicle for effective social
and economic development for a wider cross-section of the
community – man-women, privileged and marginalized.

Million of micro, small and medium enterprises in various different corners of Bangladesh
are struggling every day to compete with “privileged” enterprises that have access to various

access to important business development services and showcase their products and services

The eShangshad is a virtual institution for the common people of the community to give
them a platform to communicate their opinions and ideas on urgent and critical national
issues through forums, combining meetings, dialogues, and debates on electronic media.
These ideas will be open for discussion and participation to the democratic members of

Design/Communication service is one
of the most critical development tools of business
growth and profitability. The SMEs, particularly in
the rural areas of Bangladesh are increasingly
investing more and more on advertisement services in
the highly competitive market.It has been
identified through different researches that "lack
of capacity to deliver quality design service" is
one of the major impediments of the SMEs.
ChangeMaker and Katalyst have
planned to intervene. The
primary focus of the project was to develop and
implement a series of interventions aimed at
developing and promoting design based on
communication and marketing services for the Small
and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Bogra and the
northern region of Bangladesh.
